When it comes to moving washers and dryers, our primary duty we’ll be ensuring that the water supply is disconnected from the washing machine. That helps us avoid a potential issue that nobody wants to mess with! We then unplug both appliances and cover them with protective material before loading them onto a well maintained moving truck. For any loose parts or equipment, we use separate baggies to ensure everything remains together. Once we arrive at your new home, our team will carefully install the appliances precisely where you want them. Finally, we’ll ensure that everything is running as it should. Need anything else? Simply ask our team before they leave.
While we’ll handle 99% of the moving process for you, we have an important task for you to complete before we arrive. Simply unplug the refrigerator a full day in advance of your move. Why? We want to give your refrigerator plenty of time to defrost and dry out, which prevents mold and makes for an easier moving process. We also ask that you make sure all food and beverages are out of the fridge before we arrive.
At that point, we’ll get to work disconnecting your refrigerator. We’ll use tape and other equipment to secure electrical cords and keep other parts from shifting. We’ll be sure to keep your fridge upright during transportation, and we’ll carefully install the refrigerator upon arrival.
If we’ll be moving your dishwasher, we have one more task for you. While packing up your kitchen, please double check to make sure your dishwasher is empty to ensure no dishes will be damaged during the move. Our moving team will arrive on time and ready to go. Their first task will be disconnecting the dishwasher. They’ll handle all tubing with care so everything works beautifully in your new home. Protective padding and a dolly will be used to safely move the dishwasher out of your home and onto a moving vehicle. And after transportation, our movers will move the dishwasher into place and reconnect all tubing. Finally, we’ll make sure everything is in working order.
